3D Kitchen is pleased to announce its new material optimizer "3D Layout". Wholly owned and developed by 3D Kitchen Limited. This is state of the art optimizing with exceptional features and simple graphical interface. This is available for purchase from 1st November 2007.
Those version 8.6 clients wanting to go the new advanced optimizer can purchase this for $350.00 + GST. Some of the benefits of this are…
- Much closer integration with the design and costing modules – this means only a couple of clicks to import your jobs and optimize
- Multiple materials can be chosen and optimised in one single operation – this means a one click option to optimize an entire job – the optimizer automatically breaks the components into their various material types and optimizes them accordingly
- Labels are printed for optimized parts – labels are user-definable to suit any label layout you require
- Edge detail is shown on the printed layout diagrams – this is a big advantage showing the workshop which edges get taped
- Edge detail is also shown on the printed labels
- Layouts can be printed at 1 , 2, or 4 layouts per page
- Part dimensions are shown on the side they belong to – this makes it clear to the operator which side is which on a part with very similar height and width dimensions
- Any number of jobs can be “merged” into one job – this may allow for a greater sheet yield and save you some material wastage – in this case printed labels identify which job parts belong to
- Please note that versions earlier than 8.6 do not support the new material optimizer
